About Me & Interior ZING
Who am I and where did Interior ZING come from?
My name is Kateryna Kulesh. I have been a professional interior designer for 15 years. And I just love everything that is about the creation of home comfort. The path to Interior ZING started a long time ago for me.
I was born and raised in the south of Ukraine. From early childhood, my favorite part of any game was building a house. Dollhouses, children’s houses in the garden, my own room or houses in Sims – it seemed that I could furnish them endlessly. Not surprisingly, interior design has become my profession.
The professional path was also varied. After graduating from the Kyiv National University of Technology and Design in 2007, I managed to work as a decorator for a chain of furniture stores, and then as a designer and visualizer in an architectural studio. Later I became a freelance designer and co-owner of an online furniture and decor store.
However, all this time I wanted to create ideas for ready-made interior solutions that would be accessible to many people. At the same time, I dreamed that my concept designs would inspire lovers of home comfort to experiment a little with unusual combinations and not be afraid to be individual and different from others.
That’s how I came up with the idea of Interior ZING – my blog of inspiring interior design concepts with shoppable items and a selection of the most stylish furniture and décor. Hope you like it!
