This living room + dining room combo is the first project for my new blog. The path from the first mood boards and visualizations to this publication was quite long. Therefore, this moment is especially significant for me.

The Mood of the Project
Firstly when I created this living room design, I wanted to make it very modern and artistic. So, expressive pieces of furniture and decor from CB2 and West Elm are perfect for such a creative mood. Secondly, I wanted to convey the atmosphere of the approaching autumn. It feels with warm light, soft textures, and colors of ripe fruits and yellowing leaves on a neutral light background.
Connecting Living Room + Dining Room
First of all, I needed to place two zones in this room – a living room and a little dining room. In addition, there should have been enough free space for passage to the home office. In order not to clutter up space, I chose a small round dining table and gorgeous cane chairs from CB2 for the dining area. Sometimes I like to place two identical pieces of furniture in the interior. This is just such a case. So, there are two bar cabinets with a beautiful walnut finish.
In the living room area, there are an accent chair and an ottoman of rounded shapes + a mid-century modern sofa. Also, there is a minimalist white marble coffee table. I find this mix of forms very interesting. On the opposite wall is a white media console with a TV.
Among other things, the living and dining areas are united by the neutral color of the walls (Pure White by Sherwin Williams) and light oak parquet. The same materials go into the hallway.
