Hello, friends! Today I want to share with you my project for a modern entryway with a large round mirror. I’ve changed the details and some color schemes here several times and finally, I like the result.

When I start the decorating process in any of my room projects, first of all, I look for a piece of furniture or decor from which the entire composition will be built. Such an object in this hallway design was a huge round mirror from Crate & Barrel.
Then I found this awesome console, also from Crate & Barrel. It is made in the technique of intarsia, and its graphic design perfectly complements the mirror, which is characterized by simplicity of form and finish.
To soften this composition, I took a light gray Borrego Small Round Ottomans made of boucle fabric. They are so cute! One of them is under the console, the other is nearby.
I wanted to make this modern entryway space warm and inviting. To do this, I added West Elm Shaded Border Rug in a noble terracotta color in the center.
In addition, this color echoes a bouquet of dried flowers in a rough black vase on a console table and a small gallery wall in the same color palette.
I also wanted to create a relaxing evening atmosphere right from the entrance to the apartment. So my favorite table lamp from CB2 is another beautiful accent in this design. The candles on a small black tray complement this area with soft, warm lighting.
The hallway in this project goes into the living room. So, I separated those areas visually only by glass partitions, which I designed specifically for this project. Therefore, the color of the walls and flooring is the same as that I mentioned in the previous post describing the design of a living room + dining room combo.

I really wanted the entryway in this apartment project to be expressive and not boring. I think I did it. Yes?
